If there is one thing that has always been as true as the opposite has been true, it’s that I love black as much as I love color–ya feel? I LOVE wearing color. It’s one of the easiest ways to introduce yourself without saying a word. Adversely, though, I’ve always loved black just as much. Black has this effortlessly chic way about it; it looks great paired with color, pattern, or standing alone. That being said, we all need our must-have, die-hard, wear-forever black accessories! Victoria Emerson has been a favorite of mine for years and I am so pumped to share these incredible pieces with you, styled specifically to transition into autumn.
The most transitional look known to (wo)man–the fall floral. A look we all know and love! The Midnight Mist wrap bracelet was the very first I gravitated toward for this look. All black, classic, with faceted stones which catch the light in the most subtle but beautiful way. This wrap was a quick favorite in my collection–it goes with any and everything black! I paired it with a retired style wrap, but I would totally have worn this wrap if I had it. Again, a gorgeous way to transition into the fall! The rose gold wears and styles easily even into the holiday season.
Ending strong with my all-time favorite VE wrap bracelet! My aunt gifted me this Golden Glitter on Black Classic Wrap years before I had tried my hand at blogging and this is the sole piece that put me on VE’s radar. Thanks to this bracelet, I went on to host a Facebook Live for the company, then made a cute little haul video of amazing bracelets they had sent, and many years, collabs, and emails later, I’ve now had dinner with and am on a first-name-basis with the team’s marketing director (hi, Taylor!). I truly could not have better things to say about this company: the bracelets and accessories are adorable and practical–I’ve gifted them to my entire family and close friends and everyone is hooked–the team is absolutely fantastic, and the quality and prices are unbeatable. As aforementioned, this bracelet was my first and looks as great as ever!
I call this look my “power suit.” If there is something I feel powerful in, it is a vintage Gucci blazer and thrifted red leather shorts. I added the Golden Glitter wrap for a bit of sparkle and the Double Wrap on Red Leather to match the pop of the shorts and the leopard double wrap (which is no longer available, but I have this Double Wrap on Tan Leather and it would’ve been just as cute!) to match the top.
